Barcelona
Bayern Munich has declared their readiness to transfer Joshua Kimmich to Barcelona.

Journalist Florian Plettenberg has disclosed a significant update, stating that Bayern Munich is open to selling their midfield mainstay Joshua Kimmich should an appropriate offer arise.
Kimmich, a 29-year-old midfielder from Germany, has played a crucial role in Bayern’s team for numerous seasons. Nonetheless, he has faced certain difficulties under the management of current coach Thomas Tuchel in the ongoing season.
As Thomas Tuchel prepares to depart from Bayern Munich, the contract extension talks with Joshua Kimmich, which run until 2025, have reached a stalemate.
This development has led to conjecture surrounding a probable transfer in the forthcoming summer window, attracting interest from Barcelona.
Barcelona’s interest in Joshua Kimmich dates back to last summer, particularly after the departure of Sergio Busquets. Since then, the club has been closely monitoring Kimmich’s situation, viewing him as a top target to bolster their midfield options.
Barcelona is not alone in their pursuit of Joshua Kimmich, as several top clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and even Real Madrid, are also interested in the German international. These clubs have already reached out to Kimmich’s representatives to explore the possibility of a transfer. However, PSG, Chelsea, and Manchester United are reportedly not in the running for Kimmich’s services.
Despite Barcelona’s keen interest in Kimmich, the competition from other top clubs could complicate their pursuit, especially considering the financial challenges they currently face.
With heavyweight clubs vying for Kimmich’s signature, Barcelona may encounter difficulties in securing his services, despite their urgent need for midfield reinforcement.
