With the partial takeover of Man United by Sir Jim Ratcliffe expected to be ratified soon, a large number of staff members at Old Trafford will be looking over their shoulders.

This is because, as per Football Insider, the incoming owner is planning to reduce the workforce by approximately 100 individuals upon assuming control, deeming several departments at Manchester United to be overstaffed.

Implementing such a substantial and resolute measure as one of his initial actions will send a clear message that he is serious about making significant changes, compelling everyone else to elevate their efforts.

Not too long ago, United was regarded as a leader in their class, but they have since lost their status as a formidable force, both on and off the pitch.

Evidently, Sir Jim and his INEOS team are approaching the task with utmost seriousness as they aim to rejuvenate the club and bring it back to the forefront of both domestic and European football.

While implementing changes to certain operational aspects might be feasible soon after they assume control, the process of addressing on-field matters will require time and won’t yield immediate results.
