Premier League
Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid lead the way as numerous prominent European clubs reject the idea of the Super League.

The court has ruled in favor of the Super League, condemning the actions of UEFA and FIFA as “illegal.
” With this landmark decision, the significant barriers preventing the establishment of the European Super League seem to be dismantled, making its inception highly likely. However, this development has once again divided the football community, with numerous voices expressing their opposition to the Super League.
The CEO of Bayern Munich has publicly affirmed the club’s unwavering stance against the Super League, viewing it as a direct threat to the integrity and importance of national leagues.
In a statement, Dreesen underscored Bayern’s commitment to supporting national leagues, considering them the foundation of European football clubs. He emphasized Bayern’s dedication to strengthening, rather than undermining, the structures of national leagues, particularly expressing support for the Bundesliga.
The CEO acknowledged the European Court of Justice’s judgment but clarified that it doesn’t alter Bayern’s position or that of the European Clubs Association. According to Dreesen, a competition like the Super League would be detrimental to the significance of national leagues and the overall balance of European football. In conclusion, he reiterated that FC Bayern’s door to the Super League remains firmly closed.
