Incoming Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim reportedly does not view Andre Onana as his first-choice goalkeeper. According to *El Nacional*, Amorim has decided the 28-year-old does not fit into his plans and wants the Cameroon international sold. Amorim is said to prioritize a goalkeeper with reliable shot-stopping skills and fewer mistakes, qualities Onana has struggled to consistently demonstrate during his time at Old Trafford.

Clubs from the Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga are reportedly monitoring Onana’s situation, with interest likely to rise if he becomes available. Speaking about adapting to a potential new system under Amorim, Onana recently expressed confidence in his and his teammates’ ability to adjust, saying they are pragmatic and capable of thriving in various systems.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United player José Kleberson has expressed his belief that Ruud van Nistelrooy would have been a better managerial appointment for the club than Amorim. He praised Amorim’s accomplishments at Sporting but argued that van Nistelrooy’s familiarity with United’s culture and history, as well as his connection with players, would have made him an ideal choice.

Amorim is set to take charge of Manchester United on November 11, with his first match against Ipswich Town on November 24. Onana’s future at the club could be a major talking point as the Portuguese tactician begins his tenure.
