Spanish press reports have suggested that Real Madrid is contemplating the possibility of re-signing Brazilian midfielder Casemiro from Manchester United, despite the player being under contract with the Red Devils until the summer of 2026.

According to *Mundo Deportivo*, citing Brazilian outlet *Trivela*, Real Madrid is considering bringing Casemiro back in January to address their midfield issues, particularly in light of recent injuries affecting the team. The report also mentions that Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti would be open to reuniting with the 32-year-old Brazilian.

However, the report stresses that Casemiro has no intention of leaving Manchester United in the near future. The midfielder is reportedly excited about the direction the club is taking under new manager Ruben Amorim and feels fully committed to his role at United. The Brazilian is said to view his time at Real Madrid as part of his past and is focused on his current responsibilities at Old Trafford.

Casemiro joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 for a transfer fee of 70.65 million euros.
