Manchester United: the arrival of Ruben Amorim compromised

Published

on

While Ruben Amorim was due to be officialised on Monday 11 November as the new Manchester United coach, a major setback is delaying his arrival.

After coaching his final game for Sporting CP on Sunday, Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim, now without a club, was anticipated to take charge of Manchester United today. However, circumstances have shifted. According to the *Telegraph*, Amorim cannot join the Red Devils immediately due to administrative issues linked to Brexit.

Authorities have yet to approve his documentation for entry into the UK, leaving his work visa inactive and preventing him from beginning his role at Old Trafford. This delay is a setback for the club, which had hoped to count on him quickly to rejuvenate the team.
