Awful since the Arsenal game’: Liverpool fans blame one player for Brighton opener

Many Liverpool fans are pointing fingers at Kostas Tsimikas for allowing Ferdi Kadioglu to score an early goal for Brighton, with criticism focused on his marking and defensive awareness.

The Greek left-back appeared uncertain of who to cover, allowing the Turkey international to score right in front of him. Fans shared their frustrations online:

💭 mcpoyless: “Tsimi running away instead of going straight at him to block his shot.”

💭 Loltoyourself: “We have a full-back problem. Cannot have two guys on either side who cannot or do not want to do the dirty work defending.”

💭 Nitrox0: “New left-back seriously needed. Can’t rely on Tsimikas. Robbo’s legs are on their way out.”

💭 Skytengri: “Our left-back has been awful since the Arsenal game. Can we start Gomez?”

Many supporters are calling for changes, with some suggesting Joe Gomez as an alternative in the left-back role.
