Many believe that these fans do not genuinely support Real Madrid. However, they criticize Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé for not publicly backing Vinicius Jr. after his disappointment in not winning the Ballon d’Or. Since Monday evening, numerous current and former Real Madrid players, along with several Brazilians, have taken to social media to express their support for Vinicius, who was seen as a strong contender for the award, especially over Rodri.

While Real Madrid players are actively showing solidarity with Vinicius online, neither Bellingham nor Mbappé has commented on the matter through their personal accounts.

One fan remarked, “The silence from Jude and Mbappé is noticeable.” Another questioned, “Have you noticed that Bellingham and Mbappé haven’t posted anything, unlike Camavinga? Do they prefer not to jeopardize their own chances for the Ballon d’Or?”

Reports suggest that Florentino Pérez encouraged Real Madrid players to publicly support Vinicius on social media, but Bellingham and Mbappé reportedly declined, claiming their accounts were “inactive” at the moment. As of now, neither Bellingham nor Mbappé has posted anything. One observer stated, “The videos of them laughing together don’t convince me; I think Mbappé and Jude are pleased that Vinicius didn’t win.”

Additionally, there are concerns that tensions in the locker room could escalate if Mbappé’s ego becomes a factor. Another comment noted, “These are competitors. They all wanted to win, but they choose to stay silent to avoid upsetting their teammate.”
