Manchester United has shared very SAD NEWS regarding Anthony just 20 minutes into the match this evening.
Manchester United faced Fenerbahce today in their third Europa League match, with the Turkish side coached by former United manager Jose Mourinho.
United entered the match following two draws in the competition against FC Twente and Porto, while Fenerbahce had won against Union SG and drawn with Twente.
The Red Devils began strong, with Christian Eriksen finding the net in the 15th minute, assisted by Joshua Zirkzee.
However, shortly after halftime, Fenerbahce equalized when Allan Saint-Maximin set up Youssef En Nesyri for his first tournament goal.
In a disappointing turn of events, United experienced another potential injury setback as winger Antony was carried off the pitch.
The Brazilian, who had just come on in the 73rd minute for Marcus Rashford, was substituted by Amad Diallo in the 89th minute.
After the match, Antony was spotted leaving the stadium on crutches, as reported by Alex Crook on X.
