Arsenal planning sensational double transfer from unexpected Premier League side

Arsenal is reportedly preparing for a surprising double signing from an unlikely Premier League club.

After finishing as runners-up to Manchester City for the past two seasons, Mikel Arteta is aiming for a successful 2024/25 campaign.

Currently, Arsenal has gathered 17 points from seven matches, placing them third—just one point behind leaders Liverpool and trailing City only on goal difference. Although the season has just begun, it’s been suggested that Arsenal is already planning for next summer’s transfer window to maintain a competitive squad.

According to Caught Offside, the Gunners are interested in Bournemouth players Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez, who are estimated to be worth around €80 million.

Semenyo could serve as a backup for Bukayo Saka, while Kerkez might take the place of Oleksandr Zinchenko or Kieran Tierney. However, reports indicate that Arsenal aims to negotiate a deal below Bournemouth’s €80 million valuation.

Semenyo has made an impact since joining Bournemouth in January 2023, scoring three goals and providing one assist in seven Premier League appearances this season.

In addition to Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur is also reportedly monitoring Semenyo’s progress.

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola commented on Semenyo’s performance at the start of the season, expressing satisfaction with both his statistics and attitude. He noted Semenyo’s determination during challenging moments and emphasized his growing responsibility within the team. Iraola acknowledged that while Semenyo has shown improvement, there are still areas where he needs to develop further.
