Manchester United supporters are furious about the club’s reported £50 million asking price for Alejandro Garnacho, especially with interest from two prominent European teams.

Garnacho, who played 50 matches and netted 10 goals last season, has had limited opportunities this year, with most of his 10 appearances coming off the bench. His reduced role has sparked speculation about a possible discord with manager Erik ten Hag, particularly following some intriguing posts on social media.

This situation has drawn the attention of Barcelona and Juventus, who are said to be keeping an eye on the winger, as mentioned by *The Sun*. Both clubs could consider making offers next summer.

However, the £50 million valuation has shocked fans, many of whom feel the 20-year-old is worth much more in today’s transfer market.

One supporter on X (formerly Twitter) remarked: “As if £50m would be enough; he’s worth at least £75m. Given his age, it’s likely closer to £85m.”

Another fan expressed disbelief: “What? Only £50 million??”

A third added: “Garnacho is valued higher than £50m.”

A fourth commented: “£50 million? Yeah right.”

Another fan joked: “£50m? What’s that, a loan deal?”

Considering Garnacho’s age and impact at United, many believe that £50 million undervalues a player with his potential.

The Argentine winger joined United from Atletico Madrid’s youth setup for £420,000 in October 2020 and has since made 96 first-team appearances and scored 19 goals.

Garnacho started in United’s recent 3-0 home defeat to Tottenham and came on as a substitute against Porto in the Europa League. It remains unclear if he will be in the starting lineup for the upcoming Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
