During an interview that took place just this morning, Enzo Maresca revealed some exciting information that will be of great benefit to all of the Chelsea supporters.
Anyone who has played on a football team at any level can relate to what this Chelsea player is expressing about the current squad, viewing it as a significant advantage. Chelsea has begun the season strongly, winning five consecutive matches before their upcoming game against Nottingham Forest.
Much of this success seems to stem from the positive influence of new head coach Enzo Maresca, but the players’ strong performances and a genuine sense of unity within the team are also crucial. This togetherness is refreshing and essential, especially considering the lack of it in recent years at Chelsea. As I mentioned earlier, having cliques or isolated groups in any football team is never beneficial.
According to Renato Veiga, this situation is not present at Chelsea right now.
He remarked on X:
“The squad is really together; there are no little groups like in other teams that I’ve been part of before. It does happen; it’s normal, but it’s special that here at Chelsea, we have one big group that feels like a family. Everyone feels part of it.”
This is indeed very encouraging.
