Marcus Rashford delivered an exceptional performance during Wednesday night’s Europa League match between Manchester United and FC Twente, and it’s captivating to watch.

In the 32nd minute at Old Trafford, Rashford went up against former Norwich City striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

After keeping the ball in play, the 26-year-old forward executed a perfectly timed elastico through Van Wolfswinkel’s legs, then made a precise pass to Lisandro Martinez.

Though Martinez couldn’t take a shot on target, likely caught off guard by Rashford’s agility, it didn’t diminish the brilliance of the move.

One fan commented: “Man I’m telling you, when Rashford is on form there isn’t a defender that can deal with him,” while another remarked: “Ronaldinho would be proud.” Rashford has recently shown signs of regaining his top form, with his first-half performance reflecting this resurgence.

Alongside completing four dribbles, he created two chances and won all his duels—qualities that had been missing from his game in previous seasons.

Here’s how social media responded to his first-half display against FC Twente.

One fan declared: “Rashford is the winner of this game regardless of what happens,” while another noted: “Rashford elastico. He got his joy back. Pshh.”

A third added: “Rashford has honestly found his rhythm again, confidence is truly key.”

Another commented: “A confident Rashford is truly a terrifying player to face,” and a fifth pointed out: “Marcus Rashford completed 3/3 dribbles in the first 20 minutes vs. Twente. That’s more than he averaged in a game last season.”

Shortly after Rashford’s elastico lit up Old Trafford, in-form midfielder Christian Eriksen scored for United with a well-placed shot from inside the box.
