Luis de la Fuente’s Spanish squad boasts numerous talented players, but one in particular has recently attracted the attention of Carlo Ancelotti. Spain clinched the Euro 2024 title by defeating England 2-1 in the final, and according to *Koolmedia*, the player Ancelotti is most keen to bring to Real Madrid is Fabián Ruiz, whom he previously coached at Napoli. Ruiz has been in excellent form for Spain and recently netted two goals in a match against Switzerland.
Ancelotti, along with his assistant David, views Ruiz as an ideal addition to Real Madrid’s squad and would sign him without hesitation. However, the club has concerns about his age, as Ruiz is now 28. He is currently contracted to Paris Saint-Germain until June 2027, with a market value of 35 million euros. Despite this, PSG is reportedly unwilling to negotiate a deal with Real Madrid, given the strained relations between the two clubs.
In addition to Ruiz, Real Madrid is also eyeing younger talents, with Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen being their top midfield target for 2025. Wirtz is reportedly enthusiastic about joining Real Madrid, and the club is optimistic that Bayer Leverkusen will agree to the transfer.
