Me and my Fiance has fimally concluded on what to do next. It was a hard decision but we have to do it. I will start training with them soon”-Greenwood finally breaks silence as he made his final decisions on playing for Manchester United which shocked the fans who couldn’t believe their eyes.

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has reportedly agreed to a surprising transfer away from Old Trafford this summer.
Greenwood, 22, is set to return to United after a successful loan spell at Spanish club Getafe, where he scored eight goals and provided six assists in La Liga, earning the club’s Player of the Year award.
Greenwood has not played for United since his arrest in January 2022 for attempted rape, controlling behaviour, and assault—charges that were later dropped. The player denied all allegations.
While United confirmed Greenwood’s retention earlier this week, it appears he will continue his career elsewhere. Several top European clubs, including Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Napoli, and Borussia Dortmund, are reportedly interested in him. Additionally, two unnamed Premier League clubs are also said to be interested.
However, Greenwood now seems likely to move to Italy. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via The Metro), Greenwood has agreed to join Serie A giants Juventus.
United are reportedly willing to sell Greenwood for €35-40m (£30-34m) this summer. Juventus are confident they can negotiate a lower fee and are exploring “advantageous formulas” to complete the deal, potentially involving a swap with Samuel Iling-Junior or Federico Chiesa, as Greenwood enters the final year of his contract.
Greenwood has remained silent about his future but expressed gratitude to Getafe in a rare public statement at the end of his loan spell.
“Incredibly grateful to the Getafe family and fans for an amazing season, thank you for making me feel welcomed and one of your own. I enjoyed every second, alongside my team-mates and club,” Greenwood posted on Instagram.
“A bittersweet ending, but it was a pleasure to play for you, I wish you all the best.”
United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe stated in April that no decision had been made regarding Greenwood’s future at the club. Ratcliffe had previously suggested that the door might be open for Greenwood’s return, despite potential backlash from supporters.
“We will make a decision, correct,” Ratcliffe said.
“All I can do is talk about the principle of how we will approach decisions like that. Is he the right type of footballer, are we happy with if he is a good person or not?
“He’s a Manchester United footballer, so we are in charge of football.
“So the answer is, ‘Yeah, we have to make decisions.’ It’s quite clear we have to make a decision.
“There is no decision that’s been made. He’s on loan obviously, but he’s not the only one. We’ve got one or two footballers that we have to deal with and we have to make a decision on, so we will do that.”
