Mason Greenwood says ‘yes’ to stunning transfer with Man Utd ready to sell outcast
Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has reportedly agreed to a stunning transfer away from Old Trafford this summer.
Greenwood, 22, is set to return to United after a successful loan spell at Spanish club Getafe, where he scored eight goals and provided six assists in La Liga, earning the club’s Player of the Year award.
Greenwood has not played for United since his arrest in January 2022 for attempted rape, controlling behavior, and assault – charges that were later dropped, with the player denying all allegations. Although United confirmed earlier this week that Greenwood had been retained by the club, it seems certain he will continue his career elsewhere.
Several top European clubs have been linked with the forward, including Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Napoli, and Borussia Dortmund.
