Jadon Sancho hints that a decision has been made on his Man Utd future in rare social media post

Jadon Sancho has released a heartfelt statement on social media following Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid, hinting at his future with Manchester United. Sancho, who returned to Dortmund on loan in January after a fallout with United manager Erik ten Hag, made significant contributions during his stint, particularly in the Champions League.
In his message, Sancho expressed gratitude to Dortmund and its supporters, acknowledging the team’s collective efforts and thanking key figures at the club, including manager Edin Terzic and club chiefs Sebastian Kehl and Hans-Joachim Watzke. His words suggest a sense of closure and appreciation for his time back in Germany, indicating that he is likely to return to Manchester United.
Sancho’s statement reads:
“What a crazy 6 months. We win together, we lose together, these moments only make us stronger! I’m so grateful to be a part of such an amazing group of players!
I want to congratulate Real Madrid on winning the Champions League. We came up short on the night, but we should be super proud of ourselves. We are a family and these moments won’t break us! Thank you to everybody who came out to support us on such a special day!
@BVB I want to thank everyone involved at such an amazing club. I can’t thank you enough for welcoming me back the way you all have during these last 6 months. Thank you to Edin Terzic, Sebastian Kehl, and Hans-Joachim Watzke for believing in me and bringing me back. Finally, a special thank you to the BVB fans. Your support is amazing and I’m forever thankful for you all!”
Sancho is set to return to Manchester United with his future at the club seemingly dependent on Erik ten Hag’s position. Despite leading United to FA Cup victory against Manchester City, ten Hag’s role has been under scrutiny, and Sancho’s willingness to stay at United appears conditional on the Dutchman’s potential departure.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Sancho’s situation adds another layer of complexity to Manchester United’s plans, reflecting ongoing tensions and the club’s efforts to navigate player-manager dynamics.
