Manchester United

Exclusive news from Fabrizio Romano: “I will not tolerate any form of laziness from any player moving forward. Any misbehavior or signs of indiscipline will result in immediate expulsion from the club. This club requires players who are willing to give their all for the badge. I witnessed the match against Crystal Palace, and their lack of effort was evident. Such behavior will not be accepted.” Sir Jim Ratcliffe has issued a concerning message regarding Manchester United players, stating, ‘It’s against you.’

Former Manchester City right-back Bacary Sagna has criticized the Manchester United players for displaying a lack of effort following their humiliating 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace on Monday night.

United’s abysmal performance marked their record-breaking 13th Premier League defeat of the season, leaving them in eighth place with only three games remaining. Their decline has been evident since late February, managing just two wins in their last 10 Premier League matches.

The string of poor results has intensified the pressure on manager Erik ten Hag. Under his guidance this season, United have regressed, raising doubts about his future tenure.

While Ten Hag shoulders some responsibility for United’s struggles and faces scrutiny over his coaching methods, the players must also be held accountable for their dismal run. According to Sagna, the manner of the defeat at Selhurst Park suggests that the players have lost motivation and determination.

Sagna remarked to Paddy Power, “There’s no momentum at Manchester United. If it were easy for any coach, it would be different. Losing 4-0 to Crystal Palace, people will question Erik ten Hag and his ability to train the team, but it seemed like the United players have given up on this season.”

Sagna emphasized the unpredictable nature of football from one season to the next, citing Arsenal’s turnaround under Mikel Arteta as an example. He recalled the demands for Arteta to resign, which eventually shifted to positive results over time. Sagna believes Ten Hag deserves more time and urged a focus on finishing the season positively.

He argued against dismissing Ten Hag solely based on one poor season, stressing that while the manager makes selections, it ultimately depends on the players’ performances on the field. Sagna suggested that this season has presented particular challenges for United, with circumstances seemingly working against them.

In essence, Sagna’s critique highlights the shared responsibility of both the manager and the players for Manchester United’s disappointing season. While Ten Hag faces scrutiny, Sagna advocates for patience and emphasizes the need for a collective effort to salvage the remainder of the season.

its a 50/50 decision on blame between manager and players , its ok to say gareth southgate for next manager but he is fielding a team of top players at his disposal who are 100% + fit and are selected because they are the best of the best in england but with tehag he has to pick from a ragtail lot who are way past their best and who are not worth their salary ten hag is not the strong type like sir alex he tries to be but will never be like the boss get KEANOin with that lazy lot during training and he will show them what it means to wear the man utd shirt and badge and to die for it rashford is a bloody joke ,casemiro is looking run done and bar about possibly 4 players the rest should be put out to grass they are not fit to be man utd players bring in under 21 team players and they will run and fight for the club until they drop they will give their all for club and badge because we have nothing to lose
