Chelsea have reportedly placed a €50 million (£43m) price tag on forward Christopher Nkunku, who has emerged as a summer “target” for Bayern Munich.
The 26-year-old attacker joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig only last year but endured an injury-hit debut season at Stamford Bridge. Despite his limited game time, the Frenchman continues to be highly regarded across Europe, with Bayern monitoring him closely as they look to boost their frontline.
Chelsea’s stance remains firm: with four years still left on his contract, the club see no need to part ways with him unless an offer meets their €50m valuation.
Nkunku’s talent is beyond doubt. He was crowned the 2022 Bundesliga “Player of the Season” after a remarkable spell in Germany, showcasing creativity, versatility, and a strong eye for goal.
While Bayern weigh up a possible move, Chelsea must also make a decision — whether to cash in on the French “international” as part of their squad rebuild or retain him as a key figure once he regains full fitness.
