Isak has vacated his home in Newcastle in a latest effort to secure a transfer to Liverpool.

The striker’s wish to depart from both the club and the city has intensified.

According to reports, Alexander Isak has left his residence in Newcastle as he aims to push for a move to Liverpool.

The Times indicates that the property in Ponteland, where Isak has resided for three years since arriving in Tyneside in 2022, was listed for rent the day after he was excluded from the Magpies’ players and families day.

The 25-year-old was reportedly the only player from Newcastle’s first-team squad not permitted to attend the bonding event at the club’s training facility last week.

The owner is now thought to be looking for new tenants, having initially listed the property late last month when Isak traveled to Spain for personal training instead of joining Newcastle’s pre-season tour in Asia.

It was advertised at £6,950 per month on the day he departed for Spain, as reported by The Times, before being swiftly removed from the market prior to Isak’s return to Newcastle.

However, the property, which is believed to be vacant again following Isak’s departure, is now reportedly back on the rental market with a local agency.

Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that Isak’s determination to leave has only grown stronger, with claims emerging on Monday that discussions regarding a new contract could take place.

Isak has been advised to continue pursuing a move to Liverpool: ‘We’re just commodities to clubs.’

In contrast, Isak has allegedly pledged never to play for Newcastle again.

Liverpool remains interested but has yet to make a revised second offer after their initial bid of £110 million was turned down by Newcastle earlier in August.

Newcastle is reportedly considering Isak as not for sale, amid indications that a £150 million asking price has been established for the Swedish forward.
