Reliable media sources revealed growing internal concern, especially after repeated individual errors early in the match, which allowed the opposing team to take an early lead—an outcome that defied expectations from the very first minute.

Although fans focused on the team’s overall performance, the real concern within the management was directed at one player in particular. He had been widely expected to deliver strong results in the tournament but instead produced his worst performance in a long time.

According to a report published by the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, Real Madrid is deeply concerned about Marco Asensio’s display following his underwhelming showing against Paris Saint-Germain. This comes after a stretch of strong performances under former coach Carlo Ancelotti.
