Chelsea
BREAKING NEWS: “A return to Chelsea would only kill my career even more—I’d rather move to Saudi Arabia than go back there. I’ve endured enough, and I’m finally finding peace at AC Milan. Why would I return to a club that doesn’t believe in its own players? Especially with him still there, everything is bound to go wrong. Chelsea is crumbling quietly from the inside this is not the club we used to know.”

Joao Felix is expected to start for AC Milan against Bologna tonight, in what could be his final appearance for the club, according to a report. Calciomercato.com describes it as “a final chance to rewrite a seemingly sealed fate.” With Rafael Leao suspended and Christian Pulisic due for a rest, Felix and Samuel Chukwueze are set to line up behind striker Santiago Gimenez.
The Portuguese forward joined Milan on loan from Chelsea and is scheduled to return to Stamford Bridge once his deal expires on June 30. Although he started brightly—scoring against Roma in the Coppa Italia—his time at Milan has largely disappointed. Across 15 appearances, he has managed just one assist beyond that initial goal, delivering several underwhelming displays. Even the faith shown by coach Conceicao wasn’t enough to reignite his form, and he eventually lost his place in the starting XI.
With Milan currently navigating uncertainty—still searching for a new sporting director and head coach—one thing appears clear: the club is unlikely to contact Chelsea to extend Felix’s stay.
Interest Remains Despite Milan Struggles
Despite his poor run, Felix remains a player in demand. Flamengo made an approach that was turned down, and Benfica also expressed interest in bringing him back, both with an eye on the upcoming Club World Cup starting June 14.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, will be tasked with finding the 25-year-old a new destination. Felix, however, hasn’t completely shut the door on Milan. In a recent interview, he praised the club, the city, and the training environment at Milanello.
“Before the offer came, I watched Milan games and thought I’d love to play for them. Once the offer arrived, I told my agent to make it happen—and he did,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
While the negotiations went smoothly, the on-field experience fell short of expectations. Tonight’s clash with Bologna could end up being more of a farewell gesture than a turning point. Within the next month, Felix is expected to return to Chelsea—after which his future will be decided.
