Liverpool fans claim player is ‘not LFC level’ as performances against Chelsea slammed

Liverpool fans have claimed that at least one player is ‘not up to the level’ after the Premier League champions lost 3-1 against Chelsea.
Manager Arne Slot fielded a partially rotated side at Stamford Bridge, with Wataru Endo, Jarell Quansah and Kostas Tsimikas among those to be given a start.
But although the defeat does not make any difference to the table, of course, Liverpool fans were still disappointed with their team’s performance.
Enzo Fernandez gave Chelsea a third-minute lead, before a bizarre second half own goal – which saw Virgil van Dijk’s clearance hit Quansah from close range before rebounding into the net – made it 2-0.
Van Dijk did score what was thought to only be a late consolation with five minutes of normal time on the clock.
But it didn’t even turn out to be that as Quansah gave away a poor penalty in stoppage time, which Cole Palmer converted.
And fans were critical of several players at full-time at Stamford Bridge.
One supporter described Curtis Jones as ‘not up to LFC level’, while Quansah also received criticism.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “I’ve said it all season and I’ll say it again… Curtis Jones is NOT LFC level.”
A second added: “Quansah is not the guy for us.”
There were also criticisms of Diogo Jota and Harvey Elliott among others, with one fan adding: “Meaningless game but players like Jota, Quansah and Elliott haven’t helped themselves.”
A second wrote: “We need to loan this Quansah brother.”
A third said: “Quansah and Jones have the same issue. They believe they are better on the ball than they actually are.”
And a fourth asked: “Does anyone know how many games Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott have started together ever? I think today proves why it will just never work.”
