Liverpool are reportedly preparing an €80 million bid to bring Marseille striker Mason Greenwood back to the Premier League, according to Fichajes.
The 23-year-old former Manchester United academy star has revitalised his career in France, scoring 18 goals and adding three assists in 30 matches this season. His electric form has also drawn interest from Barcelona, Juventus, and Bayern Munich, with Marseille valuing him at €75 million-80 million.
However, Greenwood’s controversial past, including charges dropped in 2023, makes a return to England divisive. Liverpool see him as a solution to their need for a consistent finisher, but fan reception and ethical concerns could complicate the move.
