Manchester United supporters claim their beliefs have been validated as fans of Dortmund begin to criticize Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United fans feel vindicated as some Borussia Dortmund supporters show signs of impatience with Jadon Sancho.
Sancho made his Champions League comeback on Tuesday as Borussia Dortmund played out a 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven.
While Dortmund took the lead in the first half of the last-16 tie in the Netherlands, the hosts equalized from the penalty spot shortly after halftime.
Sancho was substituted in the 68th minute, and it’s safe to say he endured a forgettable night on his return to the biggest stage of European club football.
The 23-year-old winger didn’t contribute any goals or assists and struggled to generate any opportunities or complete successful dribbles.
Furthermore, Sancho only managed to complete 71 percent of his pass attempts, lost possession 12 times, and won just two of his seven duels.
To compound matters, Sancho returned to Dortmund, the club Manchester United acquired him from in a £73 million deal in 2021, on loan in January after experiencing a falling-out with United manager Erik ten Hag.
In September, Ten Hag publicly stated that Sancho’s commitment in training led to his exclusion from Manchester United’s Premier League trip to Arsenal.
Sancho retaliated, alleging that he was being unfairly targeted as a scapegoat. When he refused to apologize, he was sidelined from the first-team squad. United fans were divided over who was at fault, but those who initially blamed Sancho now feel justified following the attacker’s underwhelming performance.
“I always believed Ten Hag was the issue. Sancho’s performance proves it!” exclaimed one fan on X, while another commented, “The truth is out now. Ten Hag was never the problem.”
It appears that certain sections of Dortmund’s fanbase are becoming increasingly impatient with Sancho.
“Both Marco Reus and Sancho disappointed today. It’s disappointing. I had hoped for a strong showing in the Champions League from BVB, but the situation isn’t improving,” lamented one fan on X.
“Sancho is being given chances based on his previous spell at BVB. He hasn’t shown anything at all, while there’s a young talent capable of making an impact sitting on the bench. Terzic seems to favor the least deserving players,” remarked another.
One fan expressed frustration, stating, “We’ve had enough of Sancho. It’s time for him to leave.”
Sancho has managed to provide two assists in six appearances for Dortmund since rejoining the club.
