Trent Alexander-Arnold forced off at Bournemouth as Liverpool suffer fresh injury blow
Liverpool faced another injury setback at Bournemouth on Saturday when Trent Alexander-Arnold was substituted in the second half due to a suspected thigh problem.
The cause of the injury remains uncertain, although Alexander-Arnold was seen collapsing to the ground during the match at Vitality Stadium, visibly clutching his upper leg in pain.
Arne Slot replaced the right-back with Conor Bradley, while Liverpool led 1-0 thanks to a Mohamed Salah penalty. Salah would score again 15 minutes later to secure the win for the visitors.

Any potential injury to Alexander-Arnold would be a significant setback for Liverpool. After missing most of November due to a hamstring injury, the England international has recently begun to regain his form.
The Liverpool vice-captain has attracted strong transfer interest from Real Madrid this month, with the club turning down a transfer offer. Alexander-Arnold’s contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season.
