Playing so rubbish so far: Liverpool fans shocked by one player’s atrocious performance against Bournemouth this evening.
Trent Alexander-Arnold really frustrated Virgil van Dijk with his defending early in the match against Bournemouth.
After a careless mistake in the first minute, the English defender repeated his poor play later in the first half.
Around the 13th minute, a cross was sent into the Liverpool box, and Trent wasn’t under much pressure to clear it.
He attempted to control the ball but made a complete mess of it, losing possession to the Bournemouth players inside the box.
Luckily, Alisson managed to save the shot from the hosts at a tight angle, but Van Dijk was visibly upset with Trent.
He was seen gesturing his frustration at the right-back, seemingly urging him to improve his performance.
