Liverpool NewsWhy Alexander Isak fell to his knees at what Mo Salah did vs Man Utd…
Why Alexander Isak dropped to his knees in response to Mo Salah’s actions against Manchester United.
Alexander Isak and his Liverpool teammates were left stunned by a miss from Mo Salah.
The Egyptian forward, known for his remarkable performances against Manchester United, somehow failed to equalize for the Reds in the second half.
Bryan Mbeumo of United had scored first, capitalizing on a mistake by Virgil van Dijk, just a minute into the first half.
Alexander Isak’s reaction to Mo Salah’s miss against Manchester United.
Florian Wirtz covered his mouth in disbelief.
His fellow summer recruit, Alexander Isak, was seen collapsing to his knees in slow motion.
The legendary Liverpool player Mo Salah squandered a golden opportunity against Senne Lammens in the second half.
Sky Sports footage captured the number 11 receiving the ball just outside the six-yard box – completely unmarked in a vast space – before sending the ball off target into the stands.
Let’s be clear, Salah isn’t the only Liverpool forward who seems to have misplaced his scoring touch.
Both Isak and Cody Gakpo have also been guilty of squandering clear goal-scoring chances around the half-time interval.

Liverpool forwards disappointed Arne Slot at Anfield.
No matter how you view it, a 2-1 loss at home to Manchester United – especially to THIS Manchester United – is simply unacceptable.
The fact that we had an international break to reflect on what was a three-game losing streak arguably makes this situation even more dire.
In previous seasons, Liverpool could always rely on at least one or two forwards being sharp enough to convert chances into goals.
However, it appears that every forward at Arne Slot’s disposal is plagued by persistent inefficiency, which arguably overshadows Liverpool’s defensive issues at the opposite end of the field.
We should have claimed the majority of the points, as the statistics suggested we were deserving of that.

Yet, we cannot continuously rely on statistics, match after match, and question why the final product and, ultimately, the outcomes are not aligning as expected.
Disappointing, once more.
