Toni Kroos lets loose on Barça’s game and demonstrates the flaws

In view of the latest performances of the FC Barcelona, Toni Kroos did not hesitate to deliver a severe but lucid analysis of the Catalan club’s game. The former German international does not see how Barça can claim a coronation with its current tactical conditions.
For German legend, the d’ systemHansi Flick has obvious flaws. Barcelona’s defense is too vulnerable and offensive traffic can easily be countered, even by less posh teams. Kroos bases his analysis on his knowledge of Flick, which he worked with in the German selection.

“Their game is one of the most exciting in Europe, but they take so many risks that if Pedri, Raphinha or Lamine Yamal are not having a good day, any team can hurt them in the Champions League. This is exactly what happened against Inter Milan.”
“After the 75th minute, they are all more tired. But they don’t adapt their game to reduce spaces. If you don’t adapt your game while you’re tiring, you risk conceding more goals”, he explained in Einfach mal Luppen.”
Kroos’ analysis highlights the limits of a spectacular but fragile Barça, especially in major European events where the slightest error is paid for in cash.
Return of injured people to Barcelona in progress
The FC Barcelona preparing to recover several senior players for the rest of the season. The Catalan club hopes to be able to count on Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Fermin Lopez, three essential starters since the start of the season. Their return should offer Hansi Flick more tactical solutions and strengthen Barça’s ambitions for the next one Clasico.
However, in the last six matches in all competitions, the team has only recorded one clean sheet, revealing some defensive vulnerability. Will the feedback from these executives allow Barça to regain workforce density and, above all, to return to success? Hope is now placed on these key players.
