HE Needs to leave my Club this moment with immediate effect I don’t want to see him anylonger – Hansi Flick has instructed Barcelona FLOP to leave the Club after having less touches than the Goalkeeper and also giving away the ball to opponents

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has opened up about his side’s 4-1 defeat to Sevilla on October 5, sharing both his disappointment and his determination to take positives from the tough result.
During his post-match press conference, Flick chose to focus on his players’ fighting spirit despite the setback. “We are a good team, and the players will bounce back. We need to look at this in a positive way. What matters most to me is how the team reacted in the second half,” he said, stressing his belief that Barcelona can recover from the loss.
Addressing the errors that led to Sevilla’s dominance, Flick was honest about the team’s shortcomings but refused to blame tactics or formation. “I don’t believe the issue lies in our system or our strategy,” he explained. “We made some major mistakes, that’s clear. Our playing style hasn’t changed. There’s a lot we need to discuss from this game. The first-half performance was poor, but in the second half, we showed a better attitude and fought harder. I said the same thing after the PSG match — we have to learn from that experience and now from this one too. We must stay positive and come back stronger after the international break.”
Flick also emphasized the importance of keeping the right mentality following the defeat. “We lost, and we accept that. But we will return stronger. The most important thing is to maintain this energy and fire throughout the rest of the season,” he insisted, showing confidence in his team’s resilience.
When asked whether internal egos or dressing room issues played a part in the defeat, Flick dismissed the idea immediately. “Egos? No, that wasn’t the problem today,” he clarified. “This is football — sometimes things just don’t go your way. When you win, it’s easy to explain; when you lose, it’s harder. The result wasn’t good for us, but these things happen. What matters now is that we keep moving forward.”
Overall, Hansi Flick’s message was one of accountability and optimism — acknowledging the mistakes but reminding everyone that setbacks like this can serve as valuable lessons for the rest of the campaign.
