FC Barcelona remains unbeaten streak in La Liga—comes to an end today, as Sevilla has managed to catch the Catalan giants completely off guard on this tense Sunday afternoon.
From the very first whistle, it’s been clear that Hansi Flick’s men haven’t truly shown up yet. The home side, Sevilla, have dictated the pace, showing greater energy and determination throughout the first half. Their early dominance was rewarded when a VAR review led to a penalty in their favor.

Isaac had a glorious chance to double the lead shortly before the break, missing from close range. However, he redeemed himself moments later, finishing off a brilliant counterattack to make it 2-0 and send the home fans into a frenzy.
The Ramon Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium was buzzing, filled with joy and chants from ecstatic Sevilla supporters. But their celebrations were slightly muted in stoppage time when Marcus Rashford—one of Barcelona’s key attacking threats—managed to pull one back, scoring in the seventh minute of added time before halftime to make it 2-1.
That goal might just be the spark Barça needed. The big question now: have Hansi Flick’s side finally awakened? The second half will reveal whether Barcelona can mount a comeback—or surrender their grip on the top spot in the La
