Mo Salah Slams Liverpool Account Over ‘Disrespectful’ Alexander Isak Post

Mohamed Salah has slammed a Liverpool account on social media over what he described as a ‘disrespectful’ post.
It has been a busy summer transfer window for Liverpool as they splashed the cash on several new players.
Despite having a squad strong enough to win the Premier League title last season, the Reds broke the British transfer record on two occasions to bring in Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and Alexander Isak from Newcastle United.
In addition, the likes of Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Giovanni Leoni and Hugo Ekitike also arrived at Anfield.
In terms of outgoings, the Reds parted ways with big name players such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez. Fringe players such as Jarell Quansah, Tyler Morton, Ben Doak, Harvey Elliott and Nat Phillips also left the club.

Taking to social media, Liverpool news account Anfield Edition posted a picture of Diaz, Nunez, Wirtz and Isak, with a caption that read: “Name a bigger upgrade in footballing history.”
In response, current Liverpool star Salah called out the post, saying: “How about we celebrate the great signings without disrespecting the PL champions?”
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher then had his say as he replied to Salah’s tweet with a heart emoji.

Diaz, 28, left Anfield for Bavaria after agreeing to join German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in a deal worth a reported fee of €70 million.
Meanwhie, striker Nunez put an end to his Liverpool career by leaving European football for the Middle East. The Uruguayan signed for Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal in a deal worth €53 million.
So far this season, Liverpool have had a perfect start to the Premier League campaign, having won all three matches, against Bournemouth, Newcastle and Arsenal.
Arne Slot’s men will be back in action next weekend after the latest international break, with newly promoted side Burnley hoping to put an end to Liverpool’s 100 per cent record in front of their own fans inside Turf Moor.
