Liverpool NewsLiverpool set to spend another £170m on three players after Jeremie Frimpong transfer…

Liverpool is poised to invest an additional £170 million in three players following the transfer of Jeremie Frimpong.
The club is nearing the confirmation of Frimpong’s signing, with the defender expected to finalize his contract in the coming days.
He will take over the position of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is anticipated to transfer to Real Madrid ahead of the upcoming Club World Cup.
Frimpong was quickly recognized as the top target by Arne Slot, and negotiations are reported to have progressed smoothly.
Liverpool has agreed to meet his £30 million release clause, and a five-year contract has been prepared.
The player is expected to undergo a medical examination in England later this week. Liverpool will be pleased to officially announce Frimpong’s signing, having acted swiftly to secure his services.
Additional signings may follow as the club aims to strengthen its squad for the upcoming Premier League title defense.
One player linked to a move to Anfield is Milos Kerkez, who has performed well at Bournemouth this season.
Speculation surrounds the futures of Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas, indicating that Liverpool may pursue a left-back.
Kerkez is reportedly valued at £45 million by Bournemouth, and discussions are said to have already occurred, making this a feasible option for Liverpool, particularly if they opt to sell one of their current left-sided players.
Furthermore, Liverpool may consider a move for Florian Wirtz, who is attracting interest from several top clubs.
He has a strong connection with Frimpong, having played alongside him at Bayer Leverkusen for several seasons.
In recent weeks, Bayern Munich and Manchester City have emerged as potential competitors for Wirtz’s signature, prompting Liverpool to act swiftly to secure him and meet his reported asking price of £100 million.
In the meantime, Liverpool may potentially add a third defender, Ajax prodigy Jorrel Hato.
Notably, the 19-year-old was seen at Anfield earlier this season watching Liverpool triumph over Ipswich Town.
Hato has garnered significant acclaim from former Reds captain Jordan Henderson, who praised him extensively last year.
It remains uncertain whether he would be interested in joining Liverpool, where he would be under the guidance of a fellow Dutchman.
Ajax is reportedly open to considering offers around £25m, a sum that could yield substantial returns if Hato has a prosperous career at Merseyside.
Only time will reveal if Liverpool will pursue deals for all three players, enhancing their chances of clinching consecutive Premier League titles.
