Romano notes that Flick’s professional attitude has been noteworthy, as the coach remains focused on his current role and isn’t pushing for a deal. Instead, he’s prioritizing the team’s success and is fully committed to winning titles.
Despite the contract talks, Flick’s agents are handling the renewal process, and Barcelona is reportedly very pleased with his work so far this season. Romano believes that a deal is likely to be reached, with the intention being to extend Flick’s contract for another year, until 2027.
However, Romano cautions that the process will take some time and won’t be finalized in the coming days. For now, Flick’s main focus remains on the pitch, with the Copa del Rey being the first major title Barcelona will compete for, starting with their upcoming match against Real Madrid.
