BREAKING NEWS: Ruben Amorim is a close personal friend of mine, and because of our relationship, I persuaded my top player to join. Although Liverpool initially approached him, I asked Amorim to accept Manchester United’s offer instead. The coach of the £80M star has confirmed that his player is interested in joining Manchester United after urging him to turn down the move to Liverpool.
Manchester United are in need of attacking midfielders, particularly with Mason Mount dealing with injury issues and the uncertain futures of both Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.
Both Carrington graduates may be sold to generate funds, while Christian Eriksen no longer has the stamina to operate in that role, which is why the club has not extended his contract. Club captain Bruno Fernandes has performed well as a central midfielder and may continue in that role, which is why Ruben Amorim is looking for another creative option up front.
Amad, upon his recovery from injury, might be asked to play as a wingback, and according to Teamtalk, Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze is being considered by the club.
