Unless there’s an unexpected change, Barcelona is set to secure an unwanted player from Florentino Pérez and Real Madrid. Recent reports suggest that the defender, who is eager to play in La Liga, is on the verge of joining the Catalan club.

After Dani Carvajal and Éder Militão were injured, Real Madrid was ready to make moves in the transfer market in January should they face defensive problems. During this period, several options were suggested to the Madrid management. Like Sergio Ramos, who was rejected by Florentino Pérez despite being available for free, Jonathan Tah was also proposed.
