Although Barcelona values Lopez highly, he doesn’t have a guaranteed spot in the starting lineup due to the team’s wealth of attacking and midfield talent. He competes for playing time against players like Marc Casado, Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, and Gavi, limiting his opportunities.

As a result, the Spanish international may be considering a move to secure more consistent playing time. Further reports suggest that Manchester United is prepared to offer him a tempting salary, which could influence him to join Old Trafford.

However, discussions surrounding the transfer could be challenging, as Lopez is contracted with Barcelona until 2029, giving the Spanish club a strong bargaining position.
