ARSENAL🗞️🎯 Barcelona has finalized an agreement to sign Arsenal’s target for £83 million. Gyokeres is set to join Manchester United. By Our team, February 18, 2025, published 1 day ago on February 18, 2025, by Destiny Omodion

Newcastle and Barcelona have reached a deal to transfer Arsenal’s target to Barcelona for £83 million. Gyokeres is anticipated to move to the club.

According to reports, Newcastle United has agreed to sell their primary Arsenal target if they receive an offer over €100 million (£83 million) during the summer.

This season, the Sweden international has been in excellent form for the Geordies, netting 17 goals and providing five assists in 23 Premier League appearances. Despite significant interest from Premier League clubs and teams across Europe, reports indicate that Newcastle has no plans to sell their prized player.

However, recent reports suggest that Isak will request a transfer in the summer if Newcastle fails to qualify for the Champions League this season. Despite the 4-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday, the Magpies remain in a strong position to claim a top-four spot. Eddie Howe’s team is just three points behind fourth-placed City.

The Spanish newspaper Sport has recently claimed that Isak has received a verbal assurance from Newcastle for a transfer next summer, although the terms are still open to change.

Barcelona believes that Isak would be the “ideal profile” to strengthen their squad in the summer, despite frequent links to a move to Premier League giants Arsenal.

Newcastle is open to allowing Isak to leave on loan, provided that the offer is considered reasonable by the ‘Magpies’ based on the player’s market value, according to SPORT. The player is eager to enhance his game next summer, meaning any team interested in Isak will need to offer more than $100 million.

Still, there is one factor that could either hinder or raise the cost of Isak’s departure next summer, which is somewhat related. To succeed in the prestigious continental club competition, Newcastle will need to rely on their top player in the attacking role to qualify for the Champions League.
