Live from Stamford Bridge, Jadon Sancho has expressed his readiness to return to Manchester United in January, but with one firm demand. “I’m ready to return to Old Trafford, but only if Ruben Amorim parts ways with a particular player. Manchester United has always felt like home to me, and I’m eager to come back, but it must be under the right conditions. I won’t settle for anything less,” Sancho said confidently. The winger highlighted his affection for the club but emphasized that major changes are necessary for him to thrive. Sancho’s potential comeback now depends on his request for the club to let go of a specific individual from the squad.

Liverpool achieves an unprecedented feat in the club’s history against Everton, leaving everyone in awe

Liverpool accomplished something historic in the club’s history during the first Merseyside derby of the season. On Wednesday evening, Everton welcomed Arne Slot at Goodison Park for the first and final time since he became Liverpool’s manager last year, succeeding club icon Jurgen Klopp.

The stakes were incredibly high as Liverpool aimed to extend their Premier League lead, while Everton looked to continue their strong form under new manager David Moyes.

Even before the game began, Liverpool emphasized the importance of the match by doing something they had never done before in any prior clash with Everton.

Before the game, there were concerns about Liverpool playing without key defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, who had been substituted early in the Premier League match against Bournemouth two weeks earlier.

When the starting lineups for Wednesday’s game were revealed, Liverpool fans were disappointed to see Alexander-Arnold on the bench, with Conor Bradley replacing him in the starting XI.

With Alexander-Arnold not starting, this marked the first time in Liverpool’s history that they played a top-flight match against Everton without any English players in the starting lineup.

However, four English players were named to the bench, including Alexander-Arnold, along with Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliott, and Curtis Jones.

Regarding Alexander-Arnold’s injury ahead of the match, Slot told TNT Sports: “Trent was not close at all to start, but he can come in for a few minutes.

“It’s great to have him because, in the few games he’s been on the bench, he’s come on and made a significant impact. We have a strong group of substitutes, but it’s good to have him too.

“If you look at our schedule, we have five games in 15 days. If I had played the starters at Plymouth, that would have been six in 18, and if we progressed, it would have been seven in 21 days. It just keeps going on – sometimes players need a break.”
