Former Liverpool midfielder Jermaine Pennant believes Jude Bellingham, who joined Real Madrid in June 2023, is playing a role in encouraging his close friend Alexander-Arnold to move to the Santiago Bernabéu.

The two players have forged a strong bond through their time with the England national team, and this relationship might influence Alexander-Arnold’s decision. Real Madrid has already made an initial offer of £20 million for the right-back, which Liverpool rejected.
