Agent Jude! Bellingham ‘intervening’ in Real Madrid’s pursuit of Trent Alexander-Arnold as Liverpool star backed to join ‘best friend’ at Santiago Bernabeu

Recent reports indicate that Real Madrid is keen on acquiring Liverpool’s right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contract is set to expire at the conclusion of the current season. Former Liverpool midfielder Jermaine Pennant believes that Jude Bellingham, who made the move to Real Madrid in June 2023, is playing a part in encouraging his close friend Alexander-Arnold to join him at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The two players have built a strong friendship through their time with the England national team, and this connection may have an impact on Alexander-Arnold’s decision. Real Madrid has already made an initial offer of £20 million for the right-back, which Liverpool rejected.
