He aimed to clear up the details surrounding his exit from Old Trafford, stressing that his choice was driven by personal issues unrelated to football.
Rashford’s Statement
“I have been silent all along, but I just think this is the right time to explain what really happened, and it has nothing to do with football,” Rashford started. He added, “There have been numerous speculations about my relationship with [Manchester United manager] Ruben Amorim and my form on the pitch. However, my decision to move was based on personal reasons that I felt were best addressed away from Manchester.”
