Ruud van Nistelrooy was left enraged after Leicester City endured a painful FA Cup elimination against Manchester United, caused by a contentious last-minute goal.

Leicester City entered their FA Cup fourth-round match against Manchester United aiming to cause an upset at Old Trafford. They began the game strongly, taking a deserved 1-0 lead into halftime following a subpar first-half performance from Ruben Amorim’s team.

In response, Amorim made substitutions at the break, introducing Alejandro Garnacho. The young Argentine swiftly injected energy and speed into United’s attack, making a significant impact. His contribution resulted in him assisting Joshua Zirkzee for the equalizer, bringing United back into the match.

Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy was left enraged after his side’s controversial 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round. The turning point came during stoppage time when Harry Maguire headed in a Bruno Fernandes free-kick, securing United’s victory. Replays suggested Maguire was offside, but since VAR wouldn’t be used until the fifth round of the FA Cup, the goal stood.
