SHOCKING NEWS: Rashford blames one Man Utd chief for ‘fall out’ with Amorim ‘ordered’ to axe ‘picked on’ star. he said, “Me wanting to leave isn’t Amorim’s fault—I respect him. But United is a mess, and fans deserve the truth. Only Ronaldo dared to speak up, and now I see why. My passion for the club is gone, training was a disaster, and even one of United’s own told me to leave. Trust me, I won’t be the last—watch and see.

Reports indicate that Marcus Rashford does not blame Ruben Amorim for his current situation at Manchester United. Instead, he believes a club executive ‘ordered’ his departure.
Initially, it was expected that Amorim’s arrival would help rejuvenate Rashford’s career at Old Trafford. However, rather than providing a fresh start, the new manager’s appointment seems to have hastened the forward’s exit.
After scoring 30 goals in all competitions during the 2022/23 season, Rashford has faced struggles with form and consistency, leading to significant criticism of his performances. His attitude has also been scrutinized, further compounding his difficulties. Although United has been eager to move him on, his substantial wages have posed a significant hurdle. However, recent reports suggest he is ‘close’ to securing a loan move to Aston Villa.
David Ornstein of The Athletic reports:
“Aston Villa are close to agreeing a deal to sign Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United. The proposed move has not yet been finalized as some details still need to be worked out between all parties.”
Negotiations have made significant progress, with Villa working to finalize financial terms, resolve United’s salary coverage requirements, and secure Rashford’s approval. The prospect of playing in the Champions League is said to be a key factor in his decision, and Villa manager Unai Emery is fully supportive of the transfer. An option to buy is expected to be included, with Villa covering a large portion of Rashford’s wages and offering performance-based incentives.
In the meantime, The Sun has reported a falling out between Rashford and Amorim shortly after the coach’s arrival. The alleged dispute originated from claims that Rashford had been out partying before United’s match against Everton on December 1.
A source told The Sun:
“Marcus was called in by Amorim, who said he believed he had broken club rules by going out. Marcus denied the allegations and insisted he had done nothing wrong. He even asked Amorim for proof, reportedly asking, ‘Are you calling me a liar?’ Their relationship never recovered from that, and now, it’s difficult to see how it ever will.”
Despite this, Rashford reportedly believes that his pending departure is being orchestrated by United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe rather than Amorim. The source added:
“Marcus is convinced Sir Jim wants him gone and has essentially instructed Amorim to push him out. He feels he has been treated unfairly and singled out. During early training sessions under Amorim, several players were struggling to adapt to the new system, but Rashford believes he was the only one receiving harsh public criticism.”
Although Rashford accepts that leaving United may now be unavoidable, he is reportedly surprised by the lack of serious interest from major clubs. Financial complications surrounding his wages and potential transfer fee have deterred many interested parties.
The source concluded:
“Marcus is stunned by how quickly his relationship with Amorim has broken down. He knows he needs to move on, but he’s shocked that no top club has gone all-in to sign him.”
