All signs indicate that he is close to making his first start for Slot’s team since September, and only his second overall since joining from Juventus.

This opportunity may arise during the Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday or, more likely, in the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Plymouth on February 9.

Although this perfect record is an interesting tidbit, it’s probably not something Chiesa will dwell on for long, as he remains focused on fully integrating into the squad. As for George Latham, after his eight-game winning streak, he managed just one more victory in his 19-game Liverpool career, eventually leaving for Southport following a challenging spell.

For Chiesa, the hope is that this milestone marks the beginning of a far more prosperous chapter at Anfield.
