The playful exchange became the talk of the rest of the session, with teammates teasing Gusto for his failed attempt to get Nkunku to adopt his balloon celebration. Nkunku, meanwhile, was already planning his next goal celebration in his own distinctive style—no balloons involved.

In the end, Gusto’s suggestion didn’t stick, but it certainly brought a moment of lightheartedness to the training ground. And though Nkunku wasn’t quite ready for the balloon, who knows?
