Ronaldinho Laporta’s management and coach Hansi Flick to carry out an unprecedented revolution in the team and expel 5 players from Barcelona in the next transfer window

In a special conversation with the Catalan newspaper *Sport*, Ronaldinho, the iconic figure from Barcelona and Brazil, shared his views on the present condition of the Catalan club and its performance this season. He was open about his worries regarding the leadership of president Joan Laporta, offering strong criticism. He cautioned that if the current situation persists, Barcelona’s season could end in total failure.
Ronaldinho pointed out the lack of consistency within the club, mentioning that Barcelona has been in turmoil for several years, and Laporta appears to lack a solid plan to bring the team back to its previous success. He stressed that continuing on this path could lead to a season with no chance of competing for titles.
He also expressed the opinion that Laporta is prioritizing personal interests over the club’s, and despite the many obstacles the team faces, the management has not delivered any meaningful solutions. He argued that this is damaging Barcelona, instead of helping it.
Although Ronaldinho acknowledged the presence of some talented players in the team, he was quick to highlight others who, in his view, should be let go if Barcelona hopes to contend for titles. He criticized Ferran Torres for not living up to the expectations of a Barcelona player and noted that Robert Lewandowski, once a key figure, has lost his goal-scoring ability, resulting in Barcelona dropping crucial points. He also mentioned Jules Kounde’s issues at right-back, Frenkie de Jong’s lack of influence despite his high wage, and Ansu Fati, who has been plagued by injuries for most of the season.
Ronaldinho also urged coach Hansi Flick to take decisive action. He believes that to restore Barcelona to the top of European football, Flick needs to quickly make the tough decision to remove these players. He concluded that without strong actions, the club would have no chance of fighting for titles this season.
As Barcelona grapples with both technical and administrative challenges, Ronaldinho’s comments highlight the growing need for immediate changes.
