Barcelona move quickly to sign Chelsea star after failed attempts to resolve Dani Olmo crisis

Reports have indicated that Barcelona FC is targeting a player from Chelsea FC’s first team in the ongoing winter transfer window. Dani Olmo and Pau Victor were excluded from Barcelona’s squad on Thursday morning, as the Spanish club did not provide sufficient assurances for the players to stay for the remainder of the season.
As per the English outlet “Team Talk,” Barcelona’s management is contemplating a move in the near future to acquire Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku on loan, in case they cannot resolve the Dani Olmo issue. The report highlights that Nkunku is considered one of the top alternative options if the Olmo situation remains unresolved, with major developments expected shortly. Barcelona is reportedly aiming to negotiate a loan agreement where part of Nkunku’s wages would be paid by Chelsea, facilitating his integration into the team.
