Many Barcelona players suffer from a significant decline in their level, as they are far from their best copies. This decline has raised the concern of Hansi Flick, who is increasingly concerned about the low performance of some of the players who were considered essential in his squad.

The Catalan team seeks to consolidate its ranks with world-class deals despite the economic crisis it is going through in order to regain its position in Europe.

In light of this, Spanish press reports stated that the Spanish club Barcelona is planning to contract with the German international Leroy Sani, the wing of the Bayern Munich team, and the 28-year-old player with the Bavarian giant ends at the end of the current season.

According to information from the Catalan newspaper “Sport ”, Sani has been in discussions with the Bayern Munich administration for several months, in an attempt to reach an agreement on contract renewal.

The Spanish newspaper continued that the Bavarian giant was considering cutting out the German star, if the player was not willing to accept a significant reduction in his salary.

The newspaper continued, that Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspire and Manchester United were interested in contracting the German player.

Sani confirmed in previous statements that he wanted to join Barcelona, play next to Lamine Yamal and Pedri, and train again under the leadership of Hansi Flick.

The German star has participated in 19 games with the Bavarian team, in all competitions, since the beginning of the current season, recording 5 goals and making a single goal.

It is worth noting that Sani had moved to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2020, coming from English Manchester City, for 49 million euros.
