Life without him’: Fans highlight Liverpool’s defensive struggles in Konate’s absence
Liverpool’s defence looked really bad in the first half of the Newcastle match. There can be a few explanations: tired legs after Real Madrid and Man City matches, Newcastle’s great performances against top teams at their stadium or just a need for tactical changes.
Liverpool fans, however, confidently name the reason for such problems – the absence of Ibrahima Konate.
Even Van Dijk couldn’t help Liverpool and struggled against Isak, who scored a goal.
